With the FUE hair transplant method (Follicular Unit Extraction), also sometimes called hairstemcelltransplantation, grafts (groups of hair roots) are extracted one by one from the donor area and then transplanted to the target area(s). The FUT method (Follicular Unit Transplantation) involves the removal of a strip of skin from the back of the scalp. Subsequently, all single or multi-hair grafts (on average 1 grafts = 2.5 hairs) are removed from this strip of skin and implanted into their new position.
